very readable, a journey to the past and pain

看了她老人家的Masterclass，很喜欢，挑了一本她“最短的”书读，还是读了一周左右。对儿童/青春期/哥哥的描写非常精彩，整本的tone是嘲讽和meanness。男人们想证明自己几把最大，女人们想证明自己没有几把，女性主义者想证明自己看似没有几把但胜似有几把，不想证明和几把的关系的主人公半辈子都被这事所困扰，只好采取不顺从也不反对的态度。

只能下到英文版的电子本，纸质书也无再版……不太喜欢阿特伍德所谓的“犀利”了，女性知识分子追根究底又无一点幽默气质的性格我还真蛮不待见的，相比之下我还更喜欢“圣母”呢……
