因為迷TBBT的耳朵同學，於是想瞭解弦論，被推薦看這本書。說實話，開始沒抱什麼希望。俺天生就是個對物理很排斥的人，以前看過《時間簡史》當時覺得我這麼有限的腦容量，這輩子都不想和這些東西有什麼關聯~~ 這本書倒真齣乎意料~~作者沒有用任何的數學公式，也沒有什麼拗口復雜...

最初讀這本書是為瞭練聽力,從emule下瞭朗讀錄音.聽瞭半天纔恍然大悟:原來這就是那本<宇宙的琴弦>啊!不得不說,雖然第一推動叢書為中國的科普做瞭很大貢獻,可是很多書的翻譯實在差強人意.當然這也有點怪漢語本身,不那麼適閤錶達嚴謹復雜的邏輯關係,而且很多科技名詞還沒有對應的...

建議看之前可以先看看紀錄片《優雅的宇宙（The Elegant Universe）》大緻瞭解一下超弦理論。看得還算用心，但還是時常被一些名詞弄得頭昏腦脹。以及一些說到多維空間和模型的問題，還是要花點心思的。十維空間加上一維時間的模型，聽起來真是讓人又欣喜又頭痛。但作者已經盡...

前兩章入門級科普，接著有些跟不上瞭。高維空間極其依賴比喻，弦論本身也被比作音樂和弦。跟持混沌論的科學傢們不同，萬有理論總是喜歡反復強調其審美的成分，宇宙必須要“優雅”。
