刘易斯一生著述甚丰，出版过若干关于英国中世纪及文艺复兴时期文学的评论作品。

在学术研究方面最重要的著作有《爱的寓言：中世纪传统研究》《十六世纪英语文学》《个人的异端》等。

在宗教方面有《痛苦问题》《纯粹基督教信仰》等。

在文学创作上则有科幻小说“空间三部曲”（《沉寂的行星之外》《皮尔兰德拉》和《骇人的力量》）与《纳尼亚王国传奇》。
