Mystic River

丹尼斯·勒翰,美国当代著名作家。1966年出生于多彻斯特。曾获得美国安东尼最佳创作奖、贝瑞小说奖、马萨诸塞最佳小说奖等多项大奖。2001年完成的《神秘河》，被认为是他最具代表作的佳作。小说以纵横千里的笔力、层出不穷的悬念、目不暇接的紧张情节，将一出凶杀案的纵深脉络淋漓尽致地展现出来。作品刚一出版，文学界好评如潮，《出版家周刊》评价本书“已经站在神秘小说的最高峰”，本书也立即登上各大畅销书榜前列。2003年，小说由美国著名导演克林特·伊斯特伍德改编成同名电影，一举获得2004年奥斯卡金像奖六项提名、两项大奖。

读后感

看了神秘河才知道丹尼斯勒翰这个人，这本小说让我最后都想不通为什么两个小孩要杀死一个女孩子，真的无解。大卫的一生太悲惨，一生都被那段噩梦围绕，结果还是因为那个噩梦死去，我不能再对我爱的人有所隐瞒，这样很伤他们的心。然后我又去找其他小说来看，禁闭岛也是一部佳作...  

看了《追风筝的人》才回头来评《神秘河》，这两部片子借助类似的题材来表达了不同的主题。哈桑谅解并且一直忠于阿米尔老爷，连死都是因为维护阿米尔的家被塔利班枪杀，在童年的阴影下，哈桑依然成为一个“好人”，让人觉得不真实：真的有这样的人，经受伤害还依然纯洁？神秘河...

1.10-14| love the depiction of a blue collar neighborhood but god is it cheesy at times eg execution of Dave read two of his books could be prejudice but it felt like he always had hollywood on his mind when he wrote surprisingly also a writer for the wire
