超贊的說！塞耶斯的這本書可以說是偵探小說黃金時代的代錶作之一，排名高居20世紀30年代推理小說榜首。書中經典的本格派詭計令人嘆為觀止：恐怖的屍體，詭異的死因，都令人驚嘆不已，又琢磨不透。而當最後結局揭曉的時候，所有人又都會由衷的喊齣哪句：原來如此！

過多的模仿福爾摩斯的痕跡。 翻譯太差，以至於很多讀者在屍體齣現前放棄瞭閱讀（上圖的書，前百頁略舊，後麵嶄新），變奏鳴鍾這東西，大傢都不太瞭解，齣場人物又過於集中過於多，要想勾住讀者的心，翻譯很重要。 53頁15行，“當澤佩林來的時候，我們真的感到非常害怕”。 69頁...
