的確不是最好的Paul Auster，沒有太特彆的故事和意外，但是Paul Auster的感情總是很鋒利，有些字句雕蝕一般讓人難受，需要停下來緩衝一下。我看書就跟生活一樣，總是太當真。

"Maybe that's what writing is all about, Sid. Not recording events from the past, but making things happen in the future". Auster has a weird sense of intuition and sharpness. I wonder what the world is like for him, and what it is like to be him. I can sense his abysmal hopelessness. I think he still hasn't come to terms with himself yet.

these pages killed my whole day （後半程收束好倉促因為全部往要發生的方嚮走瞭=。= 不過還是在Sid看Grace相片集那一段動情到不行（。Writing is about making things happen in the future.（停頓下來想Sid的寫作行為與世界聯結濫用的妄想 會是所有試圖創作者都難免放大數倍於常人給自己的啊
