用了两天半的时间读完，第一次读英文书读的这么欢心。man and boy，就像我一直所描述的“男人”VS“妈妈的儿子”，如果一个男生没有在社会上人生上经历足够多，变得成熟、负责有担当，他永远无法被称之为“男人”，即便三四十岁也只是“妈妈的儿子”。主人公在年近30岁时忽然感受到危机，即便有挚爱的妻子和儿子，却恐惧着青春的逝去。（太年轻的结婚，完全没玩够，过早地进入婚姻生活都是潜在的危险）与一个姑娘一夜情之后，被妻子发现，妻子绝不原谅，远走日本。Harry开始单身爸爸的生活，也不凑巧地一同丢了工作。后经历独自带儿子，儿子意外事故，父亲病重，父亲去世，等等一系列人生中的“大事”，男人意识开始觉醒，开始明白人生中的责任和爱。男孩成长必读书。

超级易读，人生至今最易读的英语小说。地铁好伴侣。亲子什么的最感人了，尤其当小孩还没有进入青少年的时候。青少年才是噩梦的开始哟~~作者没写这部分很狡猾哟~~好莱坞式结局也很不带感哟~~~
