理想主义的Habermas啊，大部分情况下辩证地梳理了资本主义社会公共领域和私人领域的转型，which is inevitable，强调critical-rational debate及其consensus，时刻提防权力机构的侵犯和公共舆论的假象。他真的希望所有人都可以做到critical，也真的相信有这样的未来？不过对high art和film的critique太操之过急，对Mill的解读太极端感觉完全忽视On Liberty第二章，对现代建筑变化对转型的影响更是不知道哪儿来的source

Well, never mind whether you agree with him or not. What is he trying to say? What is his "public sphere" anywhere? Is it a tea house or a restaurant? Is it something else? How did he qualify such a thing? How are people supposed to behave in such a thing? What is the most important quality a person needs to possess in order to perform in it?

第三次看。六十年代的H引用了很多英美的实证研究。最欣赏的是他勾连社会各个层面的能力，私法、产权的界定、出版业内部的结构、文化产品的商业化、政党组织。这一部分对于目前的社会学研究也是最有参照价值的。比如网络媒体的发展，与社会治理技术之间的互动关系。特有批判性的那些段落反倒不那么喜欢了。他把两段历史放在一起比较，好像完全没意识到测量的东西已经是不同的了。
