马克·奥尔谢克：美国著名电影制片人，曾任多部纪录片的导演及编剧，1994年凭《罗马城》一片获艾美奖最佳编剧奖。著有《爱因斯坦的大脑》、《非自然死亡》、《血族》等多部极受好评的悬疑小说。

阎卫平：英语文学硕士。多年从事大学英语教学。90年代起，先后就职于信托公司、财务公司、风险投资公司等。主要合译著有：《读心神探》（《心理神探》）、《迫切的危机》、《失落的世界》、《毒蛇窝》、《不在犯罪现场》等。近十年来，广泛从事财经类、法律类和文化类题材的中英互译。现为江苏省科技翻译工作者协会理事。

早年在学校的图书馆借阅过,很有幸拜读了道格拉斯的大作.他在书中的描述让我感觉他好像就是真是世界的福尔摩斯.可惜现在这本书还有他同一系列的基本书现在貌似已经不再版了,也没有地方可以买到,真是郁闷呢~~~
