Mark Pilgrim is an accessibility architect in the IBM Emerging Technologies Group. He is the author of several technical books,including Dive Into Accessibility, a free online tutorial on web accessibility. He lives in North Carolina with his wife and newborn son, and spends his copious free time sunbathing, skydiving, andreading Immanuel Kant's Critique of Pure Reason.

说了入门勿看,入门还是看<a byte of python>和<python tutorial>吧~ 这2本看完了再来看dive还是很不错的... ...  

先来一坨代码尝尝看，是不是很美味； 解释一下这坨大菜是怎么做的； ---这是我喜欢的技术书方式 ---这样的书是用来读的，《APUE》那样的书是用来查的 ---如果每本技术上述都这样，程序员早就满大街了  

很赞这本书。张弛有度，读起来让人心旷神怡。 书中的每一章都以一段精心设计的代码开始。第一眼看过去，这段代码让人摸不着头脑；然而一章读完，随着作者带领着的dive into，很快就有一种豁然开朗的感觉。而每一章的代码设计的是如此精密，使得python里的很多特性都被包含在了...  

书写得不错，作者给出的示例代码很有代表性，很实用。 中文版的翻译质量非常好，特别是修订后的5.4b版，感谢啄木鸟社区的辛勤工作。  

网上对于这本书争议很大，普遍认为不适合用于入门，I agree。 正则表达式部分还是非常有用的，不过HTML解析对于无关人员可能不是那么interesting。 单元测试一部分对于没有相关知识的人来说，很适合入门。单元测试在写代码之前完成，让你知道什么时候结束敲代码，又能让你自由...

初学Python时读的，后来也推荐给想学的人。但好像后来读官方Tutorial才了解什么叫Pythonic

还可以吧，适合有编程基础的人看
