这本书英文很浅显易懂，非常适合入门读。对于当代建筑设计的过程和方法进行了论述。作者是谢菲尔德大学建筑系的系主任，同时也是心理学家。所以这本著作也会有一些认知心理学的讨论。还是比较推荐建筑初学者的入门读物。
