Kaname和Misako的離婚事件，Kaname對風流性感的帶有西方血統的妓女Louise的渴望，以及對O-hisa這個被嶽父調訓成日本傳統文化的doll的喜愛。一個人在日本傳統和西方文化中徘徊，更確切地說，其實是一個國傢在打開國門後經曆著外來思想和生活理念的衝擊。

相比mishima autobio（怎麼覺得mishima每本都是autobio）的自戀，tanizaki autobio更多的是自省和自問自答吧。估計tanizaki活著也比mishima纍挺多。然而這本真的不是細雪姐妹篇嗎，一個嫁女一個離婚，一個記敘一個心理，都是沒結局。
