果然都是吐槽流水账...和Dan Jones的《空王冠》相比可以说是两种不同的风格了。AW试图尽可能的descriptive，避免过多的个人观点。而DJ则是有一个明确了当故事主线，告诉你不存在什么玫瑰战争——这都是都铎的政治宣传。两种风格孰优孰劣就不说了，值得一看的是两本书在前因后果的reference上有微妙的差别。但是这本书（我认为）糟糕的地方在于虎头蛇尾。前半部分花了很多笔墨去写St.Albans之前的背景，后半部分匆匆赶稿，以至于结尾从爱德华四世彻底打败兰开斯特到亨利七世最终问鼎只有两三页的篇幅！？
