德斯蒙德•莫利斯何许人？他是英国著名动物学家、生物人类学家，生物进化科普作家、电视节目撰稿人和主持人、艺术家，历任伦敦动物园哺乳动物馆馆长、现代美术研究所所长、牛津大学特聘研究员。

译者何道宽简介：

何道宽，深圳大学英语及传播学教授，享受政府津贴的专家，曾任中国跨文化交际研究会副会长，现任中国传播学会副理事长、深圳市翻译协会高级顾问，从事文化学、人类学、传播学研究20余年，著译逾1 000万字。著作有《中华文明颉要》（汉英双语版）、《创意导游》（英文版）；电视教学片有《实用英语语音》。译作逾40种，要者有：《思维的训练》《文化树》《超越文化》《理解媒介》等。
