第一次读这本书是99年, 前言上写着曾被用作教材 目录里涵盖了庞培，特洛伊，迈锡尼，克里特，埃及，亚述，巴比伦，苏美尔，阿兹台克，玛雅，托尔特克…… 内页里记载的全是那些古老的世界里传奇的经历 丝毫没有古板，老套的说教 倒是象极了《夺宝骑兵》里的故事 一点乏味的感觉...  

“我们需要了解过去的5000年，以便掌握未来的100年。”说的真好～然而我比较肤浅吧，我喜欢古文明的原因，就是因为它的神秘。不需要面对繁浩星空，单看这迷雾重重的古迹，我就有一沧海一粟的微不足道感。我就是喜欢默默无闻啊～ 然后想说一点题外话，其实一直很想做一个时间轴...

这本书读得很慢，看着那些人走在各自追求理想的路上，或必然或偶然地有了重要的发现，觉得那句话说得真对——上天会厚待那些勇敢的坚强的多情的人。 四大古文化区的发现史，是无与伦比的时代。 只因那里有用一生来追求理想的决绝、固执到幼稚的相信、打破传统的气魄、伟大而...
