第一次读这本书是99年, 前言上写着曾被用作教材 目录里涵盖了庞培，特洛伊，迈锡尼，克里特，埃及，亚述，巴比伦，苏美尔，阿兹台克，玛雅，托尔特克…… 内页里记载的全是那些古老的世界里传奇的经历 丝毫没有古板，老套的说教 倒是象极了《夺宝骑兵》里的故事 一点乏味的感觉...  

56页“人世间最大的幸福莫过于年纪轻轻就舒舒服服地离开人间”，不知道原文是怎样，如果原文就是这意思的话，让我感觉很惊诧，很想了解下产生这种人生观的历史背景....  

以前被問起讀啥科系的，說完答案後，通常人家會問的不外乎：「以後要做啥工作？考古？」 我總是笑笑的亂答：「那是人類學系在做的(喂)。」 好吧我還真沒認識的人在做這行，大概是小弟太井底之蛙。 不過，歷史學跟考古學確實是相輔相成，沒有後者，很多史事光靠文獻根本是不足...
