书挺难懂的，很多介绍背景的段落，感觉故事占的比例并不多。诺顿这本后面加了很多背景知识介绍，还有批评文章，但真的看不下去，怎么那么多。

The more important aspect of this book is the critic edition which contains the background, related theory and critic essays of this novel. It introduces me about how Americans analyze a novel. I can learn from it in my later research on other novels.
