读得非常艰难的一本书，刷了两遍才稍微捋清楚些。虽说是描绘14世纪欧洲境况，但要看明白很需要中世纪欧洲史的背景，比如那时神圣罗马帝国的实质存在在哪里，与各国是什么关系？十字军东征史；法国怎么拥有了至高无上的地位；教皇派与皇帝派的斗争…… 14世纪的欧洲算得上是历史...
