Her writing remains witty and romantic and effortless, but this time she didn't make a believer out of me. There was no magic of connection. I failed to see what about Evie was so special to Sebastian, making her stand out so spectacularly amongst his numerous conquests. And I hate that a long sensual scene was bestowed upon Daisy and another man.
