福柯对某些现代性议题的看法还有点闪光之处。政治控制在社会领域的扩张将建筑纳入更广阔而复杂的范畴。建筑师不再只是单纯的某一建筑设计者和工程监督者，同时建筑于现代性中更多关联的是technology而非远久以来的techne。按我的话说，现代性按照自己的律令为各种古老的角色进行了整合。此外我在想“社会”概念的出现也是现代性的结果之一。政治在前现代与现代通过空间和建筑的摆布对社会的渗透方式有何本质区别从而呈现现代政治的鲜明特点？我认为手段上没有根本区别，本质不同在于ideologies
