Thompson has received four Harvey Awards, two Eisner Awards, and two Ignatz Awards. In 2007, his cover design for the Menomena album Friend and Foe received a Grammy nomination for Best Recording Package.

在amazon看ghost world的review的时候看到的这本书，很喜欢这个故事就买了．拿到的时候么想到是那么厚的一本，三天读完，很感动．试着翻译了前三章，很希望有中文版本，不知道看过的朋友有么有兴趣一起翻译．
