This comprehensive history traces the development of mathematical ideas and the careers of the men responsible for them. 读后感

书写的不错，翻译的还行。比较详细，对数学的发展以及各个分支的演变介绍的很好。不过如果对数学兴趣不大，或者没有坚持下去的毅力，看完是有难度的。  

国内的数学教育对我而言堪称最大的失败，多么感性的一门学科，却整出了近似于对上帝的本质猜想一样。 数学，与我而言，几乎等同于逻辑学，至少在接触到这本书以前，我一直以为这么多NB的数学家怎么可以在公设，公理，定理，定义的迷雾中走这么远，原来根本不是这回事。 这本书...

在图书中心借过第二册老版本的,结果一发不可收拾,把全部四册买了下来,新版本的.椭圆方面还不怎么了解.....对椭圆的概念有点云里雾里..........
