这是我来上海后唯一看完的一本书，小说的前面部分远比后面的精彩，到了本小说真正幻的部分，我居然开始兴味索然。显然作者是个比较有野心的家伙：P，他在大部分地方垒出了不少资料，说得如此证据确凿，仿佛我看的并不是一部小说，而是那杆“正在冒烟的枪”，比方很多“证据”...

很多科幻迷惊讶于这本书在科学、科技上的创见，不过，老夫作为一名朱子学者，对其上帝观、宇宙观，持保留态度，不赞同也不批评。感觉作者还是为了写科幻而科幻，否则非此则不足以成文一般，当不得真。若果真认其为“科学”，就有点恐怖了。嘿嘿，从这本书里，恰恰可以看见西方...

作为科幻，这本书的idea并不新鲜。它好就好在三观端正。这才是在写小说。从细节里所看到的是真正的，值得尊敬的科学家，有好奇心、尊严、同时也是脆弱的人。外星人并不是都是来侵略的，去他x的侵略，去他x的先见政府首脑，我们只是来地球看一看化石，为了好奇心。好奇心是什么...

典型罗氏作品，科学有余幻想不足。全篇的情节直白不甚出彩，令人惊异之处是罗氏以极端理性的逻辑推断架设出了一个翔实得让读者深信文字浑然不知的辩证观环境，这种身历其境之沉浸感我在其他科幻中从未体验过。外星人霍勒斯的描写栩栩如生，实为亮点。罗氏网撒得太大，导致最终只能以一个稍显神棍的结局给出一个超现实意味的概念化收场，当然我认为创作是一个持续的过程，不能以一笔为全书盖棺。总体而言，体味前中期那种科学论证氛围是核心，其余的都算是锦上添花吧。
