很多科幻迷驚訝於這本書在科學、科技上的創見，不過，老夫作為一名硃子學者，對其上帝觀、宇宙觀，持保留態度，不贊同也不批評。感覺作者還是為瞭寫科幻而科幻，否則非此則不足以成文一般，當不得真。若果真認其為“科學”，就有點恐怖瞭。嘿嘿，從這本書裏，恰恰可以看見西方...

作為科幻，這本書的idea並不新鮮。它好就好在三觀端正。這纔是在寫小說。從細節裏所看到的是真正的，值得尊敬的科學傢，有好奇心、尊嚴、同時也是脆弱的人。外星人並不是都是來侵略的，去他x的侵略，去他x的先見政府首腦，我們隻是來地球看一看化石，為瞭好奇心。好奇心是什麼...

英文版沒看過，但是中文版的確是體驗非凡啊

結尾差強人意，前麵大篇幅的對話還是很好看的。這書有些年數瞭吧，如果當時就看不知道會不會有開腦洞的感覺。近年科普科幻看得多，就覺得有些中規中矩瞭。

唉呀。這可是我第一本自己花錢買的“英文原版書”呀。不過字好小，書也小，紙質也不如那些硬皮版的書，比較粗糙，好在方便攜帶且便宜！裏麵的生物學和天文學名詞讓我極其抓狂，所以其實是中英對照的看完的。但是，仍然是一本很感人，很有懸念，也可以算是比較好的解釋瞭地球和生命的存在，書中也很係統的列舉瞭一大堆進化論，生物學及天文學的知識，還是很受教的。也讓聽著進化論長大的我很是反省瞭一般。當然最感人的，還是主角的人生故事。
