磨瞭超過一年終於讀畢，哈利路亞。Edith Wharton的作品讀起來有點像自虐，故事flow極其緩慢，美麗的文筆卻又勾人繼續讀下去。The House of Mirth, 一位美人的浮華人生與消殞，在最後的時刻，她守住瞭自己的陣地，而作為代價，卻也不得不麵對未來灰暗的前景 -- 好讓我這個慢性抑鬱者鬧心。Selden這般懦弱的男人不要也罷
