Ali Smith的第一本書，她目前的五個短篇集子裏頭，這本和public library(正好一頭一尾）我都特彆喜歡，這本更具感性和私隱情愫，有幾個長標題的故事像是模仿卡佛(Scary那一篇也很卡佛)，我最愛的一篇是text for the day，放到名傢選集裏頭也不會遜色。a story of folding and unfolding倒是體現瞭她日後的技巧方嚮。the touching of wood，cold iron也很美妙(單提一筆)。
