为了文学课读了一些选段。关于性别的讨论挺有意思(allegorical)，但是里面反女权言论也很多，令人不知道该如何看待这本书的意义或定位。宗教色彩浓厚。

框架非常有趣，出发点以及想要传达的精神和美德也是好的。一篇一篇的小故事读起来比较轻松。然而也有一些的言论及观点，让我无法忍受。明明是一本捍卫女性权利，赞扬女性美德的书，有些内容却让我感受到了直男癌的气息？

学allegory的时候读的选段, 本以为是用偏见攻击偏见的15世纪法国版"a room of one's own," 听了Kane奶奶的课后还是收获很多，比如platonic conversation的形式，各式辩论的方法，以及三位lady手中的mirror, ruler, and cup的象征意义。但读起来还是很枯燥哈:(
