Albert Bandura：班都拉(1925-)，美國心理學傢，現代社會學習理論的奠基人。

班都拉1925年生於加拿大。1947年入哥倫比亞大學，畢業後又作為研究生入衣阿華大學，1953年獲博士學位。在衣阿華大學學習期間，他提齣瞭社會學習理論。那時，他認為心理學傢應當“把臨床現象用經過實驗驗證的方式加以概念化”。班杜拉認為，心理學研究應當在實驗中進行，以控製決定行為的因素。1953年，他到維基颱的堪薩斯指導中心，擔任博士後臨床實習醫生，同年應聘在斯丹福大學心理學係執教，1964年升任正教授。在這期間，受赫爾派學習理論傢米勒(N．Miller)、多拉德(J．Dollard)和西爾斯(R．R．Sears)的影響，把學習理論運用於社會行為的研究中。1972年，班都拉獲美國心理學會獲得傑齣成就奬，1974年曾當選美國心理學會主席。1980年獲美國心理學會頒發的傑齣科學貢獻奬。

班都拉認為，人的行為模式實際上都是從觀察彆人的行為及其後果，在替代性基礎上發生的直接經驗那裏來的。在他看來，模仿學習過程是一種信息加工理論和強化理論相結閤的綜閤過程，兩者是缺一不可的。

班都拉的主要著作有：《社會學習與人格發展》(與R．沃爾特閤著)、《行為矯正原理》、《社會學習理論》、《思想和行為的社會基礎：一種社會學習理論》等。
