迈克尔•翁达杰（Michael Ondaatje，1943-）加拿大小说家、诗人。出生于斯里兰卡，11岁时随母亲来到英国，19岁移居加拿大，接受高等教育。到目前为止，翁达杰共出版6部长篇小说、10余部诗集和其他一些非虚构作品。1992年出版的《英国病人》获得英国布克奖和加拿大总督奖，根据小说改编的同名电影大获成功。2007年出版的小说《遥望》获得总督奖。翁达杰的小说，融合了爵士乐的节奏、电影的蒙太奇手法，语言深刻而优美。

Well, I have to say, the book is quite different from the movie. One can regard them as separated work. Though they both are based on the same plot and characters, the way they present the story, the pattern and tone, the main focus of the story telling are...

电影是多单薄和自大呀

补马2019。诗一样优美的语言，配以Ralph的朗诵，听这本书是莫大的享受。读到后面会强烈感觉书的主题也许并不是爱情，关于身份认同，关于文化冲突，关于殖民统治，关于后殖民时期的迷茫，关于战争作者都探讨了，而这些问题有没有答案呢，应该是没有的。

难得让我爱不释手的小说

All I desired was to walk upon such an earth that had no maps.翁达杰的语言和伍尔芙相近，诗般的呓语和压制的悲痛，最喜欢英国病人的故事，it's a love story that has no clear beginning in time or space. PS: 我看正经书的速度要能有看闲书速度那么快就好了。
