可能這就是生活的樣子：齣賣勞力換取微薄的薪金，發現法律和社會的冷漠；想要愛人卻受阻攔，希望最後長成瞭陌生的模樣；很多事情明白但無力阻止；無能和挫敗感無處不在，不會行惡，隻能自毀。←混著話劇的初刷太情緒化，我想說的是，這部劇像一個發生在現代社會的結構中的古典悲劇，沒有人為他們的痛苦承擔責任，但仍可指責Eddie的overreacting。至於情節的張力、語言、人物間痛苦的相持狀態，很多人替我說過瞭。然而馬強老師還是影響瞭我的判斷力……

ECNULIB#107Psychosexual. Eddie是很典型的Miller筆下的中年男人。內心孤寂外錶強硬，這也是現代男人的通病吧。

這個和The Crucible背靠背的劇本確實和前作有相通之處，兩者都在問“能否judge 誰來judge 怎麼judge”的問題，而答案從來不是社會或者法律，而是落在個人。前者講的是黑夜中個人良心點亮的救贖之光，而橋景則在講"purely himself"是如何釀成傾盆血雨的。

(1955) R3 directed by Martin Jarvis, w/ Alfred Molina (the BBC Drama Awards Best Actor) 故事緻鬱，也很震撼，移民問題仍有現實意義。人物的復雜：男主是個bully但還好心（可惜作者不明白恐同必深櫃，不然走嚮準不一樣），老婆是個明眼人又愛和稀泥，女主傻白甜，非法移民感嘆沒王法！
