C.s. ADLER has written some of her twenty-eight published books for children and young adults in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, where she spends summers walking the beaches and working the computer.

Many og Adler's books have also been published in Japan, Germany, England, Denmark, and Australia. She won the golden Kite Award and the Willian Allen White Award for her first book, The magic of the glits, and has since won other literary prizes. Her books have often been on the Children's Choices list and have been chosen for many state lists.
