威廉·福克纳（1897—1962）

美国文学史上具有影响力的作家之一，意识流文学的代表人物。

福克纳以小说创作闻名于世，他一生共写了19部长篇小说与120多篇短篇小说，其中15部长篇与绝大多数短篇的故事都发生在他虚构的约克纳帕塔法县，称为“约克纳帕塔法世系”。1949年因“他对当代美国小说做出了强有力的和艺术上无与伦比的贡献”获得诺贝尔文学奖。主要作品有《喧哗与骚动》《我弥留之际》《圣殿》《押沙龙，押沙龙！》《去吧，摩西》等。

李文俊（193— ）

著名翻译家，社科院荣誉学部委员，“翻译文化终身成就奖”得主。

长期致力于译介英美文学作品，尤以翻译和介绍福克纳用力蕞多，成就蕞卓著。

1994年获中美文学交流奖，2011年荣获“翻译文化终身成就奖”，多次获得全国外国文学出版奖。

陶洁（1936— ）

1958年毕业于北京大学英语专业，留校任教。曾任北京大学英语系副主任，中国外国文学学会理事、副秘书长，全国美国文学学会理事、副会长，教育部外语教学指导委员会英语组委员。

1980年开始发表作品。1990年加入中国作家协会。著有《福克纳研究》《1982年的美国小说》《谈谈美国小说?希腊神话和圣经》《海明威的使命感》《两部美国小说在中国》.译有《圣殿》《坟墓的闯入者》《福克纳短篇小说集》《国王的人马》等。
