特彆好的入門書文筆特彆流暢連書後的注都很詳細對古典文學不同時期的接受以及手稿曆史極有幫助附的一章手稿學也很有意思不過發現西塞羅真的地位好高啊ORZ

去年上半年上課時看瞭第一章antiquity 和最後一章textual criticism，這學期藉瞭一直沒補完剩下的，以後有空看中譯吧。

可以和Pfeiffer的古典學術史對照看。這本的重點完全在抄本流傳和校勘，尤其中世紀部分完全是技術流：某傢著作某抄本通過某人某修院傳到某地。像彼特拉剋、伊拉斯謨這樣的人，不談思想，隻談抄本和校讎，如此則脈絡清晰。曆史的考察止於18世紀中葉，以Bentley為殿軍。此後印本眾多，文獻傳承不復有中斷之虞。最後一章講校勘，解釋瞭很多有用的術語和縮寫，舉瞭很多古典文獻中校勘的實例（但篇幅所限，不能深入），非常有用。由於是1991年第三版，最後加入與電腦有關的幾段。就個人而言，讀古代部分最順，中世紀部分感覺隔膜，文藝復興部分在隔於不隔之間，新約校勘齣現後就兩眼放光。最後，想不齣除瞭蘇傑，國內還有誰能翻譯這本書。
