Taking the address phrase by phrase, Sam Fink has highlighted through his artwork the essence of Lincoln's words and spirit on that day in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania in 1863. Lincoln's address is also accompanied by additional quotes concerning rights and liberty, which are set on facing pages and illustrated with Sam Fink's incredible artistry.
