馬剋•羅斯，1967年自哈佛大學獲英國文學博士學位，後執教於耶魯大學、伊利諾斯州立大學、加利福尼亞州立大學，曾任加利福尼亞州立大學英語係主任、人文研究院主任。他的研究興趣是文藝復興時期的文學、戲劇，莎士比亞，科學小說，知識産權的曆史與理論。他還任多傢大學齣版社的學術顧問。

楊明，執教於北京大學法學院，曾為美國加州大學伯剋利分校法學院訪問學者，研究領域為知識産權法、網絡法、競爭法。
