作为《Managing My Life》的续篇，本书是从第一次打算退休开始讲起的，重点是最近的12年。荣誉等身如弗格森，回忆往事时着墨甚多的并不是自己多牛逼，却多是对失败的反思和教训的总结，以及对曼联豪门风骨的传统和精神的传承及发自内心的自豪感。自传当然只是一面之词，与真相难免有距离，一些恩怨仍未完全释怀，从女神到基恩，那种不能从一而终的遗憾跃然纸上，也就容易体会出几分睚眦必报的执拗，但是历史本就无法完全还原，有缺点的人往往更可爱。PS：花了近10天工夫，第一次通读全英文书籍，竟是老头的自传，未遇多大障碍。甚是安慰

在世界杯抽签夜看完了弗格森自传，非常坦诚的对职业生涯重要的时刻和人进行了回忆。对于执教哲学（最基本的是不容许任何人冒犯权威），以及个人生活旨趣（读书，赛马，酒）也娓娓道来。
