Area X has been cut off from the rest of the continent for decades. Nature has reclaimed the last vestiges of human civilization. The group is made up of four women: an anthropologist; a surveyor; a psychologist, the de facto leader; and our narrator, a biologist. Their mission is to map the terrain, record all observations of their surroundings and of one anotioner, and, above all, avoid being contaminated by Area X itself.

They arrive expecting the unexpected, and Area X delivers—they discover a massive topographic anomaly and life forms that surpass understanding—but it’s the surprises that came across the border with them and the secrets the expedition members are keeping from one another that change everything.

第一次尝试克苏鲁风格，算是被吓得不轻。但人类对未知、阴暗和恐惧的东西有一种会上瘾的厌恶感，所以故事还是非常引人入胜的。用迷雾探险的方式来无声地戳读者的后背，试过的都说很爽……[生病] 但对整本书的主旨和思想一点兴趣和共鸣都没有。本书旨在利用某个导致生物变异的未...  

《湮灭》全书共分三册，只看了三分之一就来评论不太客观。但仅通过这一册，也已经可以看到这是一部具有鲜明特色的作品。因为获奖的原因，国内读者多将《湮灭》与《三体》进行比较。确实，二者太不一样了，又都很好，所以相比之下，更能看到中国目前顶尖科幻与美国顶尖科幻的差...  

很多隐喻，很多坑，但是没有任何的明示或者暗示。一直是靠悬念来推进的故事剧情。 我看过电影，少不了依靠对电影的理解来理解原著。相比电影的人直接刺激感官，原著中女主的心理描写有点太多，很多没啥意思，看起来有点枯燥 不是很喜欢，据说第三第二集也不是很高，所以打算弃...

和电影几乎是两码事…看完让人很质疑作者讲故事的能力，不过对生态学有了一点兴趣。
