His exact dates are unknown, but he has often been considered a younger contemporary of Homer. Theogony finished. Better read secondary sources first to get a sense of the complicated genealogy of Greek gods. I focused on the 'Chasm-Sky-Cronus-Zeus' line.

2019.015 这个Introduction可谓很启迪我的读后感写作了…显然，我——即便有考虑——还是不会真的去研究词源学角度上Hesiod这个名字的历来与潜在的“变形”，从使徒到歌者。关于《神谱》在追寻古希腊本原的解释上也拓展到了于自然主义哲学的种种联系，甚至于Hesiod本人的象征代表，实质上也能称作是与古典学传统的一次融合。但很显然，《工作与时日》仍旧更加讨人喜欢（毕竟是现实主义拥趸哈哈哈），Testimonia比起前二者，似乎有些“力不从心”。
