这本书在R语言入门系列书里可以说很经典了，经常有人推荐，所以也是我最先看的几本R语言书之一。当时就跳着看的，现在研究完Tidyverse之后回过头来看，庆幸当时没有花太多时间和精力在这本书上。 原因很简单，就像标题上说的，这本书是基于Base R的，如果你接触过Tidyverse之后...  

很少涉及复杂的统计学原理，适合不想理会底层统计学原理的人学习，或者暂时不想理会统计学的人快速上手R。目前那在手头上，偶尔当作命令手册来翻阅。买这本书之前翻过几本其它的R语言学习教程，这本是个人认为最适合无统计学基础的人学习使用R的。用语方面，一如其它的外文书籍...

我喜欢这本书，喜欢R语言，相比较其他数据处理方式,R语言对数据导入方式之多，和网络抓取配合之好，是它最大的优势。对数据处理的高效也特别棒，按照作者的说法，4G的内存处理上亿条数据也不在话下，这真是很棒的利器。 manning系列的图书，强调实战，这本书也是...

啃了一个多月终于啃完了，非常好的入门书籍，系统的讲述了各种实用操作，十分推荐！

R的应用，领域比较基础和广泛，作为入门教材配合R语言核心技术手册

虽然有其历史意义，但其中大部分base包的代码是在是太繁琐且低效了，所以其中的大部分内容也只适合扫一眼而已。。

很与时俱进的一本参考书，覆盖了不少扩展包，结合网站一起用还不错
