You might have been enough the man you are with striving less to be so. 看到這句的時候立刻想到瞭最近紙片人戀愛的那個誰（。）哎這部劇真的好有意思……完全沒想到我居然會喜歡後半段那個冷酷不聽任何人勸告，被Menenius說已經變成瞭龍，not a creeping thing的主角……被人群狂熱地憎恨與敬愛，一邊讓人想到烏閤之眾，但他本身又是暴烈的火，也怪不得人群這樣對他，就好棒啊！

強烈推薦這部莎劇。這戲是莎士比亞晚年的一部作品，講一個羅馬大將軍受到人民指責後反叛的故事，裏麵涉及經濟動蕩，人民不滿，貴族領導受到質疑，'tribune of people'（護民官）利用民眾不滿獲得權力等等…放到這次的美國大選後來看，真是再適閤不過瞭。比如精英理想（arrogance）與人民選擇（ignorance）之間的矛盾，莎士比亞的答案，我覺得是無解。coriolanus的悲劇性其實比他最著名的四大悲劇還要徹底，這部劇裏的所有人都在做對的事（從他們的角度），沒有第三方的介入或欺騙，導嚮結局的隻有人性的弱點，毫無轉還的餘地。感覺這部劇的還多對話都可以注解當前美國的政治環境。
