详细描述了老布什的奋斗，非常生动，值得一读。我听的是有声书，小布什读的。

本書是小布什描寫的老布什波瀾壯闊的一生，真的是波～瀾～壯～闊～小布什的描寫娓娓道來，平鋪直敘，卻又不顯無趣。多了一些個人解讀和對其父親失敗的辯解，因為不熟悉美國歷史及選舉，中間一些選舉的細節我走神了沒讀進去。感覺有點過分強調其父的個人魅力，也合情理，畢竟是兒子眼中的父親，只是好奇個人魅力外交真的如書中所說的那麼有用？但平易近人確是老布什踐行一生的美德，值得深思和學習。
