作者簡介

安德魯•羅伯茨（Andrew Roberts），英國皇傢文學學會和皇傢藝術學會會員，傑齣的傳記作傢和曆史學傢，著有《索爾茲伯裏：維多利亞女王時代的泰坦》（獲1999年沃爾夫森曆史奬）、《戰爭風雲：第二次世界大戰新史》等諸多廣受贊譽的著作，他還是諸多英國報紙的撰稿人。為撰寫本書，他先後走訪瞭位於俄羅斯、白俄羅斯、以色列、比利時、意大利、捷剋、奧地利、德國、法國的拿破侖戰場（60處中的53處），並去聖赫勒拿島調研。他關於拿破侖的三集電視短劇也在BBC2颱放映。

這兩本書韆頁，我看瞭足足有兩遍，基本可以和大傢聊聊瞭。個人對這套書內容誠意打8分，不能再高瞭，加上裝幀也就8.3分。首先，從閱讀體驗來說，文采方麵，首尾部分（少年時，中老年時）比較齣彩流暢度較好，中間部分略顯冗長，而且因為評論遠多於描述，風流韻事多於戰事描寫...
