Manabu Yukawa, the physicist known as "Detective Galileo," has traveled to Hari Cove, a once-popular summer resort town that has fallen on hard times. 東野圭吾的大名很早就有所耳聞，高中時就曾下載過其全集（不過一直沒看，恩，也好，不看盜版書……），反而是在大一住院時看過幾集電視劇《神探伽利略》，不過那時候都不知道這是東野圭吾的作品。今年在 Yucca 的推薦下看過一篇東野圭吾的短篇《無能藥》，非常喜歡，又恰逢多看...

東野圭吾的作品屬於打開瞭哪怕熬夜也要讀完的係列。《盛夏的方程式》也不例外，盡管對東野來說可能是剛及格的作品。又見到瞭久違的湯川教授，也是熟悉的頂替殺人劇情，東野仍然寫齣瞭新意。故事發生在玻璃這個海濱小城，一場環境保護和海底資源開采的討論會把主角們都吸引到...

跟前麵兩本比起來有點弱，但是還是很有意思。像是一個架空的世界，人物行為動機都很天真。這種以命換命的犧牲之愛在東方文化的背景裏感覺很自然。

看的第二本英文日本小說瞭，感覺很奇妙，但讀起來異常輕鬆。看瞭好多遍福山的電影，小說讀起來，湯川這個角色比電影更溫柔，對恭平有很多的笑容甚至寵愛。雖然這部電影的湯川已經比之前的有人情味很多瞭，但小說畢竟更具體。另外，小說裏的警察不是岸榖，而是內海和小草組閤，讀起來更有趣一些。拍電影的時候，大概還是為瞭捧演員以及與第二季伽利略連貫性的需求吧。
