He is vice president for science education at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Allan Wilson Professor of Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Wisconsin Madison. 前幾天看到一個紀錄片。由於海冰融化，海象需要爬到八十米高的懸崖上尋找地方休息，在這個過程中很多海象不幸跌落懸崖摔死。我想人們可以輕而易舉地將一個毫無戒心的人從二十樓（80米高）推下去，但是人們不會這麼做，因為這是謀殺；人們再怎麼努力也沒有辦法單靠力氣把重一噸的海象從二十樓扔下去，但是通過剝奪棲息地可以。——這可以說是“一樁發生在遙遠北極的謀殺案”嗎？
