Charles Petzold wrote the classic Programming Windows®, which is currently in its fifth edition and one of the best-known and widely used programming books of all time. 推荐不论是newbie还是geek都来看看，大陆教育的失败在于只是知识的填充而无法发掘获得只是的智慧。那么这本书完全从发现问题，解决问题的角度来讲解计算机，回答了像我这种newbie的一些“白痴”问题。对于那些喜欢系统了解事情的人来说，这本书是非常适合的。

作为一个半路转行的软件开发人员，读到此书时相当的震撼，一定程度上也弥补了没有正式上过相关课程的遗憾。书中婉婉道来编码的发展史和一些故事也非常的有启发意义。其实我觉得所有对计算机感兴趣的人都可以读一读。
