确实是essay无疑。全篇冷静客观，讲述了恋爱中多个必经阶段，掺杂了哲学辩论和心理学分析，作为串联的“故事”本身反而显得次要。阿兰德波顿的语言很流畅，tone也让人很舒服，伦敦文艺绅士腔。
