A cartoonist and illustrator from Austin, TX born in 1996. Tillie's first book was published at the age of 18 by UK publishers Avery Hill. She has since made two further books with them, been nominated for an Eisner and won two Ignatz Awards. All in the space of 18 months. A recent grad of the Center for Cartoon Studies. Tillie likes cats, architecture, daylight and manga. She doesn't like flowers, nighttime, loud music, or superhero comics.

這感覺太對！跋說，雖寫迴憶錄，但並不望準確敘事，而是力圖傳遞情感。完全做到！清晰看到summer和love this part。藉貫穿6-17歲的一個經曆（花滑）寫成長中的一切。同階段其他方麵的unstable與不可測，讓花滑成瞭抓得住、可依靠的心靈寄托，成瞭深潛上浮時的孤索。

覺得還是真實反觀自我的書。如果不是滑冰而是彈鋼琴是不是就會丟失很多讀者呢？背後沒有很透徹的體悟，其實不需要很透徹的體悟。但是否有可能是因為滑冰是個還未普及剛剛流行的項目 纔讓這個故事更有可讀性呢
