今天读了230页英文小说，读完了《深入北方的小路》（the narrow road to the deep north），此书是2014年的布克奖获奖作品； 布克奖评委们认为此书是布克奖颁奖史上难得的经典作品（masterpiece），读完此书我认为这种评价完全合情合理，在我看来此书在某种程度上可以用"伟大"...  

在2015年的最后一天，读完了这本narrow road。由于中间曾经一度放弃，因此，本书可算2015年跨度最长的一本书了。 The narrow road并不是一本传统意义上的小说，章节之间内容交错跳跃，如果囫囵吞枣的话，初读起来感觉凌乱。也正因此，在读完第一部分之后，颇让人觉得枯燥无味以...

对人物心理的把握是最大的亮点，Dorrigo和Amy凄美的爱情和战俘营的残酷其实就够了，晦涩的开头和拖沓的结尾实在是倒胃口。不过其实看完整本书应该再回头看看开头几章。
