André Aciman (born 2 January 1951) is an American writer. Born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt, he is currently distinguished professor at the Graduate Center of City University of New York, where he teaches the history of literary theory and the works of Marcel Proust. He is the author of several novels, including Call Me by Your Name (winner, in the Gay Fiction category, of the 2007 Lambda Literary Award) and a 1995 memoir, Out of Egypt, which won a Whiting Award.

节奏很慢，超大量的心理描写，理论上说应该很枯燥，但是这本书却让人一直想要知道后面的故事，想知道他们俩到底怎么样了。结尾大大出乎意料，原以为这样刻骨铭心的爱情故事，尤其是同性间的爱情故事一定会有一个轰轰烈烈的生离死别，没想到就那样结束了。不过这个结尾其实才是最有力量的，死并不可怕，苟活才是地狱。不过最最后那种惯看秋月春风，都付笑谈中的气氛还是有点儿接受不了。

前半部分Elio内心真的戏多（吐槽......）最后却感动的想哭，因为一度认为是Oliver用情更深，但是20年后，Elio还是hold still，虽然我不认为Oliver忘了，他应该真的remember everything，但是那个年龄的Elio没想到真的付出了真心，遇到了唯一的那个人。这个故事真的不能用男人和男人来概括，年龄更不是问题，是一个灵魂与另一个灵魂的相遇（like each other）而Elio爸爸说的那段话也实在是感人至深，Elio真的很幸运。
