Governing China's Population

Susan Greenhalgh is population specialist and Professor of Anthropology at the University of California, Irvine. She was formerly China specialist and Senior Associate at the Population Council. Edwin A. Winckler is a political scientist and Research Scholar at the Weatherhead East Asian Institute, Columbia University. The authors have served as advisors to the U.S. Government and the U.N. on Chinese population policy.

还不如Greenhalgh自己那本，但值得一提的是，govermentality这个概念说明了人口问题在长期的革命实践中被政治化，而这个问题恰恰是Greenhalgh的后作（Just one Child）中忽略的。由此可见Greenhalgh 2008中对这个问题的回避是一种学术表达上的策略。
