因為關注度太高，所以昧著良心給瞭個四星，結果發現原來不止我一個人覺得一般，所以直接降瞭一星。書的最後說作者是參考瞭很多真實的資料，堆砌成的這本書，可能是因為這種馬戲團離我們的真實生活太遠吧，我還是感覺不真實。讓我感覺平凡的最主要原因是因為書雖然很厚，...

花瞭兩天晚上斷斷續續看完瞭。預想中的沒有感動，現在很少有標榜著灑淚的書可以真的讓人哭瞭。所以，看書還是不要看廣告詞的好，不然會被誤導。這本書，不是走的感人路數，也應該不是走華美詞藻路綫。看到豆瓣上好多人在對它錶現齣失望，埋怨它的詞滙平白空洞，還有就幹脆直...

記得課上老師說the “water” in the title is actually the “hope” 整本書在兩個時間綫裏穿插整個故事很豐富人與人之間的關係及其變化階級之間的衝突還有男女主人公和大象Rosie之間的感情有很多細節都是讓我動容的……除瞭發生在過去的精彩故事年邁的Jacob對於馬戲團古怪的偏執也很讓人印象深刻
